So this weekend was fun! (and I say this in a completely not-sarcastic way, I think) I got to go home this weekend because I had a lot of appointments scheduled for Friday, which was spent driving around with my mom going to the orthodontist to tighten the braces (yes, I am a college student and I just got braces...), then to the doctor for my second HPV vaccination shot (yay, a shot! haha) and then to an oral surgeon where I had surgery on my lip.

Yes, people, I can now say that I've had surgery.

okay, so it was really minor, I wasn't even knocked out completely but it was still surgery! I've got a killer wound on the inside of my lip (about 10 sutures, baby!) and my lip in general is bruised and swollen. It looks like I got into a fight...or that I had collagen injected into my lip and the doctor screwed up The stitches are gorgeous Not to mention, dear doctor prescribed me some amazing painkillers.

Which I didn't get to take because they're the kind that make you drowsy and I'd promised my high school drama teacher I'd be in one of her shows. So, not 8 hours after my surgery, I was onstage talking loudly and clearly in a New Hampshire accent and nobody could tell!

And tonight, I got asian food! It's amazing how much I miss eating real asian food...the "asian food" here at school is vile. haha

So I feel good. My paper is finished. If it's bad, whatever. If it's good, then great! I'm past the point of caring, really.


(I'm glad this is a happy post. Many of my other ones...aren't. I'm making up for it!)
